Event Description

Discover Australia's rich heritage and culture at our monthly History Through Film sessions.

This month, join us for the 2023 documentary, 'The Search For The Palace Letters.' Follow Professor Jenny Hocking in her struggle to reveal the true story of the British Royal Family’s role in the Whitlam government dismissal.

Professor Hocking fought an epic battle against the Australian Government and the monarchy for the right to public access to “the palace letters”, overturning Royal secrecy, and allowing everyday Australians the chance to discover their own history.

After the session, we can also show you how to access even more documentaries and films at home using Kanopy, absolutely free!
