Event Description

Discover rich heritage and culture at our monthly History Through Film sessions.

This month's featured film, 'I Am the River, the River Is Me', explores the Whanganui River in Aotearoa/New Zealand - the first river in the world to be legally recognised as a person, as a living and indivisible being. The film is a positive, urgent call to action for the rights of nature; now the fastest growing legal movement in the world.

Come along to watch this intriguing documentary and find out more. After the session, we can also show you how to stream even more documentaries and films from home using your library card, absolutely free.
