Event Description

Discover rich heritage and culture at our monthly History Through Film sessions.

This month, we're watching 'History Bites Back'. Aboriginal filmmaker Trisha Morton-Thomas teams up with Comedy Director-Writer, Craig Anderson, and Australian comedians Steven Oliver and Elaine Crombie to explore centuries of taboos, prejudice and ignorance. Infused with comedy, satire and good old-fashioned irony, 'History Bites Back' unpacks 250 years of shared history between its First Peoples and modern-day Australians.

Come along and watch the film in the comfort of Melton Library. After the session, we can also show you how to stream even more documentaries and films from home using your library card, absolutely free.
