Book Week Movie Marathon: Paddington

Sometimes the movie IS better than the book! Celebrate Book Week at the library, where we'll be showing some of our favourite films based on books.

Paddington follows the comic misadventures of a young bear from Peru, who travels to London in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone at Paddington Station, he begins to realise that city life is not all he had imagined - until he meets the Brown family. It looks as though his luck has changed until this rarest of bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist. Based on the beloved 'Paddington Bear' series, written by Michael Bond.
