Event Description

Discover rich heritage and culture at our monthly History Through Film sessions.

This month, join us for the four-part documentary series 'The Art of War'.

Art historian, Betty Churcher, brings her unique perspective to Australian art created during, and inspired by armed conflicts from World War One to the “War on Terror”. The series explores works by both famous and unknown artists - some created to encourage patriotic sentiment, others to protest a senseless loss of life.

Enjoy a free screening in the comfort of Melton Library. After the session, we can also show you how to stream even more documentaries and films from home using your library card, absolutely free.
