Have you ever uploaded your DNA to find long-lost relatives or learn about your health? Join us for an eye-opening talk with Dr Jane Tiller from Monash University, as she unpacks the legal and ethical considerations of sharing your genetic data with companies like AncestryDNA.
Find out what happens with your DNA and personal information and what you should know before you share it.
Dr Jane Tiller is a lawyer, genetic counsellor and public health researcher. She has a background in corporate law, and a keen interest in the regulatory and ethical aspects of genomics. She is the Ethical, Legal and Social Adviser in Public Health Genomics at Monash University, and Senior Project Coordinator at Australian Genomics.
