Event Concluded

Event Description

The Melton City Libraries Short Story Competition is back!

To celebrate, spend a thrilling hour with Melbourne authors, Sarah Bailey, and Mark Brandi.

In this conversation-style event, Sarah will be sharing insights from her new novel, 'Click', while Mark will be exploring elements from his award-winning books.

Come along to gain lasting insights and perspectives from two of  Melbourne's best-loved crime authors, and learn what it takes to write a captivating story.

Copies of Mark and Sarah's books will be available to purchase on the night.

About the authors:

Sarah Bailey's award-winning debut, 'The Dark Lake' (2017), is the first in the Detective Gemma Woodstock series and is currently in development for TV. Sarah lives in Melbourne with her partner, three children, and cat.

Mark Brandi was born in Italy, and raised in a pub in rural Victoria. His debut, 'Wimmera' (2017), won the British Crime Writers’ Association Debut Dagger - the first Australian work to do so. With a criminal justice degree, Mark worked in the justice system before becoming a writer.
