Join us for National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) 2026 as we come together to read 'Luna Roo: the Kangaroo Baller' by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake Minton and published by Little Book Press. Cheer for Luna Roo as she finds her inner strength on the field in this energetic underdog story.
Rookie captain, Luna Roo, leaves nothing on the pitch as she leads FC Outback in a thrilling face-off against Bush United. Kids will love this inspiring tale of courage, perseverance, and the kind of grit that makes you want to stand up and cheer! It is a powerful celebration of courage, self-belief, and pushing through when things get tough.
NSS is one of the Australia’s most beloved annual reading events, bringing together millions of children, families, libraries, schools and early learning centres to share the same story, at the same time, right across Australia.
