Event Description

Join us for a calm, sensory-friendly craft activity using soft, squishy modelling clay. Squeeze, shape, and mould the clay to create characters, animals, letters, or anything else your imagination inspires.

This session is designed to support children who are neurodivergent or who experience sensory sensitivities.

If you’re not sure what to make, you can create a personalised, squishy sensory bag in your favourite colours - perfect for squeezing, fidgeting, or helping to regulate big feelings.

A quiet sensory zone will be available with sensory tools provided. We also encourage families to bring any tools or noise-cancelling headphones that work best for their child.

To support a comfortable environment, this is a small-group session with a maximum of 10 participants.

A social story will be shared before the session to help you prepare for your visit and know what to expect at the library.

Parents and carers are required to stay for the duration of the session. This a great opportunity for you to network and connect with others.
