Event Description

From Donald Mackinstosh’s stolen Olympic glory, to doomed aviator Jimmy Melrose and the plane crash that shocked Australia, Melton has a rich history of mystery and mayhem that’s ripe for rediscovery.

Dive into some of our town's most sensational true stories in this colourful presentation by Michael Adams, creator and host of the acclaimed history podcast, 'Forgotten Australia.' Michael is also the author of the 'The Murder Squad' and 'They’ll Never Hold Me', both recently nominated for the Ned Kelly True Crime Award.

You can choose to attend this event in-person, or catch the online livestream via Zoom.
