Event Description

Did you know there are hundreds of ways you and your family can help to improve the state of our environment and climate? Luckily for families, many of these things also act as important learning opportunities for children through sustainability and nature-based activities.

In this fun and exciting workshop at Little Blind Creek Reserve, our expert tutor from Green Earth Kids will teach children and families about the environment through nature crafts, how to make a bird feeder, insect hotel, and bee waterers, as well as discussions about how we can protect local wildlife and their habitats.

Additionally, there will also be nature-based take-home activity sheets! Bring along a picnic and enjoy your time at the reserve.

This workshop welcomes drop-ins, so you are welcome to arrive at any time between 2pm and 4pm.

Parent supervision required at all times.
