Supporting Lifelong Learning: Early Years and Beyond

Event Description

Facilitated by early childhood consultant Louise Dorrat, this hands-on session specifically designed for CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) families will provide you with practical examples to support your child at home for lifelong learning.

This session will cover:
• What does kinder and school readiness actually mean?
• Why is play so important?
• What can I do at home to support my child in lifelong learning?

We will also be singing easy songs and rhymes and looking at some fabulous picture books to support your child’s learning.
This session is specifically designed for parents and carers from a culturally and linguistically diverse background. .
