Event Description
Get up close and personal with butterflies, stick insects and other creepy crawlies in this fun and interactive minibeast encounter!
Explore the 'Bugtopia Tent' and learn how to safely handle and feed a selection of minibeasts including stick insects, butterflies, giant litter bugs and yabbies. Try and catch aquatic minibeasts and view bugs up close with microscopes.
The team at Labcoat Learning will teach you how these living things grow and change, their features, adaptations and their role in food chains.
Suitable for children of primary school age. This program is organised and funded by Healthy Connected Communities.
