Celebrate Youth Fest 2023 with us! Come along for free events to celebrate and empower LGBTIQA+ and allies to share our love of reading, writing and storytelling.
Join us for this very special short story workshop with author Alison Evans. Flex your writing muscles as Alison talks you through their writing process and shares tips and tricks to writing the perfect short story. Alison Evans is the award-winning author of three young adult novels: Euphoria Kids, Highway Bodies and Ida. Their shorter work appears in the anthologies Hometown Haunts: #LoveOzYA Horror Stories and Kindred: 12 Queer #LoveOzYA Stories. They work as a children’s specialist bookseller and live on unceded Wurundjeri Land.
Make sure you stick around for our other Youth Fest events! Snacks will be provided. Please email librarybookings@melton.vic.gov.au if you have any dietary or accessibility requirements.
