Event Description
The theme of the City of Melton Learning Festival for 2026 is ‘Expand your Horizons’, and we are encouraging our community to try something new!
Whether that means picking up a new hobby, learning a new art practice or exploring a different way of seeing the world, pushing ourselves outside our comfort zone can be hard, and downright terrifying at times.
To help set us all up for success this Learning Festival, we have invited Anna the Anxiety Coach to open our festival. After all, stepping outside our comfort zone is fundamentally a nervous system experience. Anna is a counsellor, an integrative somatic trauma therapist, coach and author of the books ‘The Vagus Nerve Reset’ and ’21 Days to a Less Anxious You’. Come along with Anna as she talks us through what's actually happening in our bodies when we try new things, and how we can work with that rather than against it.
