Event Description
Do you find your mind wandering, or struggle to find time to dedicate to your writing? Writing can be an isolating practice, which can demotivate even the most dedicated.
Drawing on the strategy of ‘body-doubling’, where the presence of other people boosts focus, motivation, and productivity by reducing distractions and creating a sense of accountability, this regular drop-in style session offers a supportive space for writers to focus on their latest projects alongside other writers. Writers of all levels and types are welcome, whether you’re a seasoned journalist working on your latest article, a university student with an essay due, or a beginner novelist with no idea where to start! Join the session for as little or much time as you like and for those in need of a little inspiration, writing prompts will be provided to inspire creativity.
