It is Family History Month!
Peter Hore has researched members of the Women's Royal Naval Service who worked at wireless intercept stations during WW2. They logged messages from German, Italian and Japanese radio networks, many of which were sent to the codebreaking station, Bletchley Park, where they were deciphered, translated and consolidated to build knowledge of the enemy's movements and intentions.
Hear the incredible stories, including that of some Australians who contributed to an unknown story of over 75 years ago. Peter will also discuss his research strategy and tips for finding women in the archives.
