Australian Poetry Slam Heat

Event Description
Hosted by Andi Stewart, poets will have two minutes to perform their original work; no props, no costumes, no music. Judges are randomly chosen from the audience. The two highest-scoring poets will represent Melton in the Victoria Final!
From June to October, APS heats and workshops connect storytellers across the nation, leading to eight State Finals and the National Final as part of Story Week 2021.

Notes & Requirements
Bookings are required for both audience members and those wanting to participate on the night. Staff will contact you prior to the event to confirm if you will be participating as a poet. Poets, please log in to the Zoom session by 5.45pm to complete your registration. Poets must perform in their residing state or territory.
