James McAra Mitchel managed William John Clarke's Rockbank Sheep Station for over a decade. Mitchel left an indelible mark on the Shire of Melton through his innovative practises and management skills. This is the story of how Mitchel's legacies were almost lost in the admittance papers of the Kew Insane Asylum.
Presented by Mitchel’s descendant, local genealogist and author, Janeen O’Connell, in conjunction with the Melton Family History Group.
