Event Description

You can't escape the fun at this Houdini History Magic show!

In this compelling event, Dr David Waldron (Historian) and Dr Jo Clyne (Magician and Historian) illuminate some of the lesser-known facts about world famous escapologist and magician Harry Houdini.

Learn about Houdini's improbable friendship with author Arthur Conan Doyle (of Sherlock Holmes fame), aviation aspirations and unorthodox approaches to his craft. Waldron and Clyne will also tell you all about Houdini's fateful 1910 Australian trip and historic flight at Diggers Rest. Fun for all ages!
