History Through Film: The Last Goldfish
Monday 29 July 2024 at 2:00PM
Melton Library & Learning Hub
Event Description
Su Goldfish was raised in Trinidad, but moved to Australia when she was thirteen, following an attempted military coup. As a child, Su didn't realise she was white. As an adult, she finds a new family in Sydney's queer community, learns she is Jewish and that she has half-siblings on the other side of the world.
Our monthly History Through Film series is a great opportunity to view documentary films showcasing the history of our nation. After the film, we can also show you how to access many more documentaries at home using Kanopy, absolutely free!
