In World War Two, Australian 'Victory Gardeners' banded together to grow their own food and help the war effort. In the fascinating film 'Dig for Victory', learn about this monumental effort to keep the nation fed during the war.
In a post-screening talk from environmental historian and Melton Librarian Dr Pete, learn how modern sustainability efforts can learn from this historical campaign.
The film 'Dig for Victory' comes to us from the National Film and Sound Archive.
