Learning Festival Opening Day Celebration

Event Description

Embrace the joy of learning this September! The City of Melton Learning Festival is back for the sixth year – and it’s bigger and better than ever!

Kick off the festival at Melton Library with a huge opening day celebration!

We'll have live music, face painting, gardening, zero-waste cooking demonstrations, and the opportunity to create art and toys with upcycled materials. Get to know some of your sustainable local businesses, have your portrait sketched while sharing your learning stories, discuss biodiversity with the famous Connies, try your hand at nature watercolours, or learn about saving on electricity bills with author Tim Forcey.

There'll be free coffee, showbags, and a sensory chill room.
