Event Description

Death is a universal human experience, but how we understand death differs across cultures and changes through time.

Have you wondered how dying rituals have changed throughout Australian history?

Join us to explore this fascinating subject with historian, Dr Caitlin Mahar.

Dr Mahar's book, 'The Good Death Through Time', discusses Western attitudes to managing dying and suffering and what it means to "die well."
