Event Description

We’re thrilled to be welcoming award-winning social media reporter and presenter Matilda Boseley (she/her) to Melton Library this headspace day.

You may have seen Matilda’s face pop up on your TikTok For You Page with her informative and fun media reports. Her first book, The Year I Met My Brain, documents her experiences and discoveries after being diagnosed with ADHD at 23 and investigates the hidden prevalence and costs of ADHD among adults.

Working for Guardian Australia, Matilda writes and hosts their short-form news explainers. Her work on the platform has won her a Quill Award for Innovation in Journalism and was nominated for a Walkley Award for the same category. Matilda regularly reports on issues affecting young people, women and mental health.

Matilda will be joining us via zoom to chat about her debut book and her career as a reporter and social media superstar. You will have the chance to ask questions during this Q&A session.
