Event Description
Deep dive into the pages of The Ballarat Poetess' 1850s journal with award-winning spoken word artist, Megan J Riedl.
In costumed character as poet, Ellen F Young, Megan will perform aloud a selection of Ellen's politically charged works from Victoria's gold rush era. Then, guided by Megan and working with your fellow audience members, you will have the chance to craft a new spoken word poem using lines from Ellen's historic works.
