Event Description

With its origins in Eastern religions of Hinduism, Buddhism and others, mandala art is a map of the universe. In Islam, mandalas combine geometric arrangements and cultural motifs to symbolise connections with Allah (God).

In this beginner-friendly art workshop for teens, participants will create their own mandala in a mindful practice of self-expression. Learn the basics of drawing mandalas and the tools required, discover different types of mandalas, and explore examples of mandalas in Islamic art.

All participants will get to take their work of art home
