Event Description
Celebrate World Environment Day at Melton Library!
Join illustrator and author Georgia Angus to explore how art and writing can connect us with the natural world. This session will include an introductory author talk, where Georgia will describe her inspiration and process for writing the Australian field guides; 100 Australian Birds, 100 Australian Butterflies, Bees, Beetles & Bugs, and Hide & Beak. Flex your creative muscles in a hands-on illustration workshop where you will be guided to create an artwork of a bird or insect species.
Reference images will be supplied and no prior art experience is required to join!
