Event Description
In preparation of submitting your entries to the 2026 Short Story Competition, come along to a special edition of Word Crafter’s Society to learn how to write through writer’s block.
There’s nothing more painful than feeling stuck creatively, especially when there’s a deadline. In this workshop, author Bonny Cassidy will teach you some vital skills and exercises to help you work through those moments when you can’t quite get the words to flow.
Bonny Cassidy is the author of three poetry collections and one book of nonfiction, including shortlisting for the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards and Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards. She won the 2025 Antipodes Creative Prose Prize and is currently completing a second book of nonfiction. Bonny lives in the bush on Dja Dja Wurrung Country, where she runs private writing courses and mentorship.
