Skill up to reduce textile waste, while saving money and your favourite clothes!
Has your favourite shirt lost a button? Do your comfiest pants have a hole? Is your preppie’s school uniform dragging along the ground because you bought it to “grow into”?
Don't despair! From buttons to hem fixes and invisible patching, this interactive workshop facilitated by A Fitting Connection, will skill you up in traditional mending and sewing techniques, extending the life of your garments and the money in your pocket.
If you have clothes in need of repair, bring them along and work on them during the workshop. If you don't have anything to mend, practice materials will be provided so you can still learn the techniques and build your confidence.
