Do you remember the headlines? The death of millions of fish along the Barka (the Darling River) near Menindee in far western New South Wales. You may not have heard what followed.
More Than a Fish Kill traces how, in the wake of the devastation a remarkable collaboration was formed. This Learning Festival, expand your horizons and take a journey on the Barka with the Barkindji People, who have lived as part of the river for tens of thousands of years
Join us as we discover how arts, science and ancient knowledges can be interwoven together to bring people together to celebrate our places and strengthen our connections.
